A new TV show titled “Chit Khin Pha Lal Doe Lu Nge” (Beloved Youth Talk Exchange) is set to air soon on YTV. The program features talented students from Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL), showcasing their skills and ideas in a unique collaboration between CGTN Myanmar and YUFL. This project aims to strengthen the bond between Myanmar and China by promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
The show, which took over a month to plan and a week to film, consists of 12 episodes. Students from various majors, including English, Chinese, French, and others, star in the series, alongside foreign students studying Myanmar at YUFL. The casting call received an overwhelming response, making the selection process highly competitive.
Despite challenges like unpredictable weather and tight schedules, the production team was inspired by the students’ energy and enthusiasm.
Ms. Mo Xiaoxin, from CMG Yangon Bureau, shared, “The students’ unity, intelligence, and freshness are truly inspiring. This program highlights the different perspectives of youth, and we’re honored to play a part in promoting their opportunities.”
The show explores a range of topics, from international relations and cultural exchange to education, sports, and modern trends, all presented through the lens of youth perspectives. Expect insightful discussions combined with an entertaining format.
Dr. Kyi Shwin, Rector of YUFL, expressed his pride in the project, calling it a milestone for the university. “This collaboration is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn and grow. The experience will benefit them for years to come,” he remarked.
One of the participants, Nandar Oo Wai, a French major, described the experience as unforgettable. “It’s been a life-changing opportunity. I’ve learned so much about communication and the media industry,” she said, adding that the process has boosted her confidence.
YTV, known for its youth-focused shows, will soon air “Chit Khin Pha Lal Doe Lu Nge” and the exact date will be announced soon.
