Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Cambodia on its 70th anniversary of independence. Xi expressed support for Cambodia’s development path and achievements in recent years. He emphasized China’s commitment to supporting Cambodia in maintaining stability, promoting development, and improving the well-being of its people. Xi also highlighted the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Cambodia, as well as the Year of China-Cambodia Friendship. He mentioned meetings with King Norodom Sihamoni to plan for a shared future between the two nations.
Xi stated that he values the development of China-Cambodia relations and is eager to work with King Sihamoni to strengthen their strategic partnership and build a high-quality, high-level, and high-standard China-Cambodia community in the new era. Additionally, Xi sent a congratulatory message to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People’s Party.
