Tel Aviv’s municipal services will hold a half-day strike on Monday to support the families of Israeli hostages, announced by Mayor Ron Huldai. The strike, part of a broader action across Israeli municipalities, follows the return of six hostages’ bodies from Gaza. Israel now believes 101 people remain captive, with 35 presumed dead. Opposition leader Yair Lapid has urged a nationwide strike to pressure the government into securing the release of the remaining hostages. Israel’s Histadrut labor federation has also called for a general strike on Monday.
