The Red Cross Society of China has provided $100,000 in emergency aid to Vanuatu following a magnitude-7.3 earthquake that struck the Pacific Island nation on Tuesday. The quake caused significant damage, leaving at least 14 dead and over 200 injured. China’s ambassador to Vanuatu, Li Minggang, stated that additional support will be offered based on Vanuatu’s needs.
