Countries and anti-Israel factions in the Middle East condemned an Israeli airstrike that killed Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut on Friday. The airstrikes reportedly killed at least six people, injured 91, and caused significant damage. Hezbollah mourned Nasrallah as a “great martyr,” while Hamas condemned the attack as a “cowardly terrorist act.” Turkish President Erdogan and Iranian officials criticized Israel’s actions, with Iran declaring five days of mourning. Regional leaders, including from Iraq, Yemen, and Syria, also condemned the strikes, calling for international intervention. Since October 8, Israel’s military actions in Lebanon have intensified, leading to over 1,600 deaths and thousands injured.
