MI Radio Introduces Exciting Internship Opportunities to YUFL Students
In an inspiring move to connect academic learning with real-world media experiences, Myanmar International Radio (MI Radio) recently hosted an interactive presentation at Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL). The event aimed to open doors for students to exciting internship opportunities at MI Radio.
The presentation highlighted MI Radio’s dedication to steering students towards their dream careers. Radio DJ Zwe from the “Learn the lingo ” program delivered a presentation about the station, outlining the various internship programs and career paths available. The presentation emphasized MI Radio’s strong commitment to nurturing emerging talent through a range of internship opportunities that provide practical, hands-on media experience.
The head of radio station U Zaw Min Htet answered the interesting questions asked by the students who were actively engaged in discussions about the essential skills needed to thrive in the media industry. In addition to the presentations, MI Radio conducted screen tests for students interested in becoming Radio DJs or host. Meanwhile, students specializing in Myanmar, English & Chinese languages at YUFL showed a strong interest in applying for internship programs in translation and script writing.
