A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on Friday, killing at least 144 people and injuring hundreds. In Thailand, over 110 people remain missing after an unfinished high-rise collapsed in Bangkok, killing eight. In China’s Yunnan Province, two people were injured, and over 1,700 were affected in Ruili City. The Chinese Foreign Ministry reported no Chinese casualties in Myanmar. The UN allocated $5 million in emergency aid to Myanmar while assessing further needs.
