The Israeli military has expanded its ground operations in southern Gaza, moving into the Shabura refugee camp in Rafah City. Troops reportedly dismantled “terrorist infrastructure” while continuing operations in northern and central Gaza.
Israeli forces also targeted the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, claiming it was being used by Hamas as a command center. Meanwhile, Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades fired rockets at Israel in response, with explosions reported in Tel Aviv.
The United Nations has warned that the situation in Gaza is worsening, with mass displacement and restricted aid access. Renewed Israeli strikes since Tuesday have resulted in 591 deaths and over 1,000 injuries, according to Gaza health officials.
