Gaza war to last months as fears of conflict spread rise

Israel’s Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, stated that the war against Hamas will continue for “many months.” He emphasized the absence of quick solutions in dismantling a terrorist organization and expressed determination to reach Hamas’ leadership, whether it takes weeks or months. The conflict’s impact has led to an escalating humanitarian crisis, with significant casualties and destruction in Gaza. Additionally, there are indications that the conflict is spreading, with incidents involving Yemen’s Houthi militia, Hezbollah, and Iran-backed militants in various regions. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant mentioned being in a “multi-front war” facing threats from multiple theaters.
