Elon Musk’s xAI will launch Grok 3 on February 18 at 12 p.m., featuring improved reasoning, computational power, and adaptability. Built using xAI’s Colossus supercomputer with 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, Grok 3 has 10 times the computational capacity of its predecessor, enabling faster training and greater accuracy.
Key upgrades include synthetic datasets for diverse scenarios, self-correction mechanisms, and reinforcement learning to enhance decision-making. xAI claims these improvements will reduce AI hallucinations and boost logical accuracy. Early tests suggest Grok 3 outperforms OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini in complex reasoning. Musk called it “scary smart” and hinted it might be the last time an AI surpasses Grok.
