He noted that many international tourists are sharing their positive experiences online, reflecting growing global interest in China. From January to July 2024, over 17 million foreigners visited China, a 129.9% increase from the previous year. The government has implemented policies to encourage inbound travel, including visa-free entry for select countries and expanded transit visa exemptions. These efforts aim to showcase China’s rich culture and strengthen global ties.
