China, Japan, and South Korea have agreed to enhance trade cooperation following a trilateral economic meeting in Seoul. The three nations committed to strengthening collaboration under regional and multilateral trade frameworks, accelerating free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations, and improving supply chain resilience.
They also pledged to deepen cooperation in digital and green economies while fostering a favorable business environment. Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao emphasized the need to counter unilateralism and protectionism, advocating for regional economic integration to boost global economic growth. China reaffirmed its commitment to high-quality development and expanding trade opportunities with its neighbors.
