Jakarta Floods – A little girl died, and thousands were evacuated after torrential rains triggered severe flooding up to 3 meters deep. Authorities used weather modification techniques to reduce rainfall.

South Korea Bombing Incident – Twenty-nine people were injured after two fighter jets accidentally dropped bombs on a civilian area in Pocheon during training exercises. The incident damaged homes and a church.

Thailand Casino Law Change – Thailand abandoned plans to restrict casino access to citizens with $1.5 million in assets, instead allowing entry for those with a three-year tax history. The country aims to boost tourism and investment.
