China Media Group (CMG) hosted a media event for the 2024 China Brand Day, focusing on trends in “China-chic” (Guochao) consumption and promoting the power of Chinese brands to support high-quality economic development. Key figures like Luo Wen, head of the State Administration for Market Regulation, CMG President Shen Haixiong, and Yang Guorui, deputy director of the National Radio and Television Administration, spoke at the event.
Shen emphasized the importance of branding for companies and highlighted CMG’s commitment to building and promoting Chinese brands since its establishment over six years ago. He stated that CMG will leverage its communication strengths to enhance the global recognition of Chinese brands. Additionally, CMG plans to conduct integrated media activities to further elevate the international influence of Chinese brands, especially during the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
