The meeting featured in-depth and constructive discussions on AI risks, global governance, and socioeconomic development. China emphasized AI as a key emerging technology, advocating for it to be beneficial, safe, and fair. China also supports enhanced global AI governance, with the United Nations playing a central role, and seeks international collaboration, including with the U.S., to establish global AI standards. Additionally, China expressed concerns about U.S. restrictions on its AI sector. Both nations acknowledged AI’s opportunities and risks, reaffirming their commitment to the consensus reached by their presidents in San Francisco.
